C.H. Barron is a Filipina author addicted to creating fantastical worlds and fierce characters based on Filipino myths, folklore, and culture. She’s also honed her storytelling skills and Communications degree into a career leading content marketing strategy for technology brands. Constantly in search of more ways to share her love of the written word, she serves as a board member for the Boston chapter of the Women’s National Book Association and has volunteered as a writing mentor and college essay tutor.
When not writing, she can be found running her own content marketing consultancy, shouting answers at the TV during Jeopardy!, and trying to outwit a toddler that’s definitely smarter than her.

Other things I’ve written:
Frivolous things about me:
- I’m on team tea (matcha lattes, specifically)
- Mornings are my preferred writing time
- I will never turn down freshly made puto bumbong
- Independence Day is my absolute favorite movie (yes, I’m serious!)
- I still stan Suze and Jesse (THE MEDIATOR series by Meg Cabot), and Miaka and Tamahome (Fushigi Yuugi)
- IMO, breakfast must always come with a stack of pancakes
